"We Serve" is just what we do. The Merrick Lions Club is part of Lions Clubs International, the largest non-profit, service organization in the world with 1.4 million members. Lions are dedicated to putting the needs of our neighbors and communities first and upholding the Lions motto " We Serve".
We make fundraising FUN.
The Merrick Lions Club holds various fundraising events throughout the year including the Taste of Merrick, Food Drives, Comedy Nights and our Annual Golf Outing. Where there's a Need, there is a Lion.
We're Passionate about Veterans and Dogs
The Merrick Lions Club Foundation has sponsored William, a US Marine and Lyla , a "Team" with American's VetDog. We are half way there to sponsoring another Team. We also have been giving the National Amputation Foundation donations to help with their adaptive ski outing as well as other activities they hold.
